very poor service to help

i bought a brand new mazda cx5 from Motus Mazda Germiston.. i only have 8500 km on the clock, It has not been for its first services as yet. and the problem im having its there a funny smell when i switch the aircon on, Now i called mazda they not interested in changing it I have to cough out R800 for a new aircon filter, So i am really disappointed because a new car shouldnt have this problem , and they not willing to notice something wrong,...what the point of the warranty then?
