Unsatisfactory Service Received

Once again I am left with a bad taste in my month. I took my vehicle for a 90000km service to Imperial Mazda Paarden Eiland on the 2nd March 2017. When I was assisted by Chris, I advised him that I need to have the vehicle back by 2:30pm, he advised me that they need to have a good look at the vehicle seeing that it was a major service, and that he will ask them to have it done by 3pm, I also advised him that it will be fine if they skip the wash bay as I really needed my vehicle back at that specific time.

When I contacted Imperial Mazda at 2:50pm and spoke to Ashley, he advised me that the vehicle is still on the lift and will most probably only be done by 3:30pm. I called at 3:20pm, and still the vehicle was not done from being serviced, I then asked Ashley whether he can send the driver through in the meantime to collect me, which he did. I however had to wait another 40min for the driver to collect me as he went and fetch another client, which I was not aware of, but that is how Mazda lets their customers know they are special.

We then started the drive to Imperial Mazda, where the driver took an alternative road as the highway heavy flowing with traffic, which I don’t mind. While taking an alternative route he gets a Call from Ashley at Imperial Mazda to find out where he is and they started talking and he advise that he can go and fetch another client, I then asked whether I can speak to Ashley whereby the driver gave me the phone and I asked Ashley I need to get the vehicle as I have other commitments which I needed to attend too, Ashley, did not even say a word or even say let me speak to the driver. Neither Ashley or the driver asked whether it would be possible if we can collect another client. This was not in the route, as we had to go to Woodstock.

I also arrived at Imperial Mazda where I collected my vehicle at 5:15pm. This was and is totally not acceptable from Mazda, to treat its clients with no remorse what so ever.

Firstly I had no transport to fetch my daughter from school at 3pm the afternoon, therefore I asked to have the vehicle ready by 2:30pm.

Secondly, my son had to make his way to a mall in order for my wife to collect him there whilst they wait for me to come and pick them up. This alone was frightening for him as he is only 8 and will all the kids either being shot, bump or ****** is scary.

Thirdly, we were late again to fetch my younger sons from crèche as they close at 6:00pm, and they could not wait for us as they had to leave. But they had no idea as to where they will be going to, which we had to arrange alternative arrangements on the last minute.

We don’t have a second vehicle like most people and we don’t have transport to fetch our kids from school as we are their only mode of transport to and from school.

In this case Imperial Mazda, not only made me look at Mazda differently, but they will not see me there again, I will take my vehicle elsewhere for its services, and the way I feel it to get rid of my Mazda, as this is a brand that has been tarnished in my eyes, and all I am going to get is a “We apologise for the inconvenienced cause, and we hope that we can restore your faith in our brand” speech.

I am really disappointed in the way everything played out yesterday and how Imperial Mazda treated me as a client.
