Revolting Service at Rola Mazda Somerset West
I Bought a brand new Mazda 2 Active last year (November 2020), at the Rola Mazda in Somerset West. Almost two months ago, within 7 months of having the car,it randomly got stuck while driving on the N2. I called road assist and they picked the car up and took it to Mazda. A day later Rola called and quoted me R17 000 (seventeen thousand rand ) to fix the car. The following day when I decided to go into their offices, because I just cannot understand how and why this is going to cost me to begin with let alone R 17 000. Their response was that they did not know what they exact issue with the is, they would need to open it u first, and that will cost me R 6 500 (six thousand five hundred rand).
What I then firstly fail to understand is how am I quoted R17 000 on something they do not even know. Secondly this car is 7 months old, and should not be giving me these kind of issues to begin with.
I have not had my car for almost 2 months now, I feel that this is incredibly unfair treatment for a paying customer that bought a brand new car. I am not sure if my age, gender, race or all, has anything to do with the kind of treatment I am getting. Whatever it is, it is not fair. I deserve better. Further more I truly trusted this brand (Mazda). I feel truly let down.
