REPORTING BAD SERVICE AND STRESSFUL

Dear mazda team. I would like to share my stress with Mazda Southern Africa . I am driving a Mazda 3. 1.6 dynamic which I bought last year around Oct/Nov on 9000km.

On the first month of driving it I realize that the petrol consumption is high I did hint my sales person which he only said maybe I’m driving at high speed which I later on tried to reduce. Life continued woth mazda 3 dynamic as this fuel consumption never changed.

I shared with my brother and he drove my car for a week in December and confirmed that indeed my car is consuming a lot. 2018 started life continues with Mazda still experiencing the stress of having to buy more petrol.

Sometime in the year I asked my husband to drive my car for 2 full weeks which he confirmed that my car is consuming more petrol. Since he was driving my car I was driving his which is a 2 liter but I realized that petrol is consumed in a very normal way which made me feel more stressful with my lovely mazda 3.

I then decided to book my car inn where I bought it for them to asses this problem.

They then assessed my car which they said there might be a problem with my clutch which might be causing the high fuel consumption. And I was in denial of the because they assumed that maybe caused by my driving style which I’m still in denial of.

They even did a quote for me for this clutch problem they are assuming which they said if indeed there’s a clutch problem I should be the one paying it since the warranty is not responsible for clutch problems I am VERY STRESSED about this.

The car did not go for further clutch diagnosis because I said they must not open the gear box because I was afraid should they open it and find a problem I will have to pay for their diagnosis and clutch kit if it will have to be replaced.

They then did a reset of my petrol gauge and told me to monitor it. Still I feel like my car is still the same.

By the time I took my car for this petrol problem I also reported my leather sit which has teared. They lodged a claim with the warranty and it was approved for them to fix it which they did. When I went to collect my car for leather sit fixing I realized something broken exactly next to the sit they were fixxing. I’m disappointed with this negligence but they said they will communicate with me on Monday 30: July 2018 so they can see how they’ll fix it. On top of that I also need clarity in terms of the Petrol, when I am dropping my car for fixing should Mazda CHM drive my car with my petrol to wherever they are going to fix my car? But my main stress and worry is that i am driving the car which I am not sure if it’s getting more damaged as I drive it. Can somebody urgently assist this because. I am even willing to return back the car. I want to be driving a car which I am 100% sure it’s quality assured in terms of getting assurance that my car is just consuming petrol not because there is also this assumption that there could be a clutch problem.

I feel like I do not want to have Anything to do with Mazda at all.
