Poor Service
It is with great regret that I am writing this complaint because I have received very good service from Lazarus Centurion in the past. I took my vehicle in for a 260 000 km service on 18 Dec 2015 just before I took the long road on holiday - but received very poor service as follows:

1. According to Mazda/Ford's maintenance intervals, a 260 000 km includes a check on the battery electrolyte level with a potential top-up. On 27 Dec 2015, the battery was stone dead and I had to get towed from Kolmanskop to Luderitz, Namibia. After inspection, we came to realise that 4 of the 6 cells of the battery had no electrolyte in it meaning Mazda never did the check paid for which directly resulted in the battery going bust according to a qualified diesel mechanic.

2. I received a call from Jakes during the period that my vehicle was in for the service/repairs: he noted that my windscreen wipers needed replacement after which consent was given to replace it. After thorough inspection though, this wasn't done.

3. I ordered parts (REQ 2263 of which I have a copy) and was told that it would take 25 days to have these delivered at the dealership. I am still waiting...

I have more...
