Pathetic Service @ Mazda

My boss purchased a Mazda CX-3 through CMH Madza Durban. The salesman who assisted her was Ernest Dismore. Throughout the process we had sent him all the correct documentation which he still managed to get wrong when filling in forms and had continously lost proof of residence and other documents which were e-mailed to him. My boss had also asked him to ensure that her registration number would come back as a "NU" number plate else she was not taking delivery of the vehicle. On Friday 27th of May 2016 I called him and called and confirmed with me on the phone that it would definitely be a "NU" numberplate and that he was just waiting for the digits. My boss took delivery of the vehicle on Monday 30 May 2016 without a number plate. Ernest did not even advise her that she could transfer the plates from her old vehicle onto the new vehicle. (Which she opted to do). This morning I called Ernest to enquire what is happening with the number plates as she urgently needs them. He advised that he no longer works there and that I must contact Sanele Ngidi to find out. This is unacceptable conduct. He did not advise us beforehand that he was leaving the dealership, and after making a sale and not ensuring that everything is in order, leaves and we are now left without numberplates on the vehicle, which is a mess we have to sort out now. The service received is beyond pathetic and dealerships should not be rushing customers to make a quick sale / make false promises without giving customers all the information in relation to the purchase of the vehicle. We now have to wait and all fees have been paid but the vehicle is left without a number plate.
