Not honoring there service plan agreement

I bought a 2022 Mazda CX5 that was ****** and recovered, the vehicle had just over 7000KM. I took the vehicle to Mazda Rola Motor City for a service as required within a year or every 1500KM. Mazda refused to service the vehicle under the service plan that is still in force. This was the feedback from Mazda: Thank you for contacting Mazda Southern Africa.

The vehicle in question has been modified and its chassis does no longer display the original identification numbers.

As mentioned in our Warranty Terms and Conditions, modified or tampered-with vehicles will not enjoy any cover.

Should you feel aggrieved with our decision, The Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa can be approached.

I did not question the Warranty Terms and Conditions but the Service Plan. The SAPS issued a new VIN and Engine Number, vehicle went for a clearance and the vehicle was registered on my name with the new VIN and Engine number and link to a new Register number on the NATIS system.

How can a new VIN number compromise the service plan? I provide them with all the supporting documents from the SAPS. I requested Mazda to provide me with there Service Plan terms and conditions with no response.

All other motor brands will update the VIM and Engine number and service the vehicle as per the manufacture service agreement.

Don't consider buying a Mazda and look at there HelloPeter review extremely poor.
