Mazda Parts - Absolute joke in South Africa. DONT BUY!

My vehicle was in a minor accident (hit a bush buck on the road) on 3 September 2021 and the insurance claim was settled hours later. I was told there were delays re parts due to covid then. I was quite surprised - the rental vehicle was for 30 days, and in my mind I thought I wouldn't need it for 10 days. Each month I received notification that there were further delays re parts. It is now February, and I have just been told that parts wont arrive this month either! WOW. How did nobody tell me when I bought the Mazda that parts were impossible in South Africa. I so badly wish I had not bought a Mazda. Lesson learnt. 6 months later - NO accountability from Mazda. No reparation suggestions. I have paid vehicle installments for 6 months, along with insurance premiums - and not had car. This just absolutely blows my mind. "We are waiting for parts". Its a bumper! I could have swam to Japan and back by now. Just pray if you do buy a Mazda that you dont need parts - or just have a second car ready. 180 days later - and counting! What an absolute joke.
