Mazda CX5 with many faults

My wife bought a Mazda CX5 from Eagle Mazda in Bramley. She took delivery of the vehicle in January 2016. In February 2016 with about 13000KM on the clock the engine and some other lights came on. My wife contacted Eagle Mazda to ask them what she needs to do. They informed her that she must take the vehicle to the closest Mazda dealer witch was Vereeninging. We did that. The vehicle stood at Mazda Vereeniging for two weeks for diagnostics. The third week they waited for the exhaust sensor. Mazda did nothing to accommodate my wife with another vehicle seeing that her brand new vehicle with 13000km on the clock and only a month old.

On the 30000km service the left electric seat went faulty and Eagle Mazda could not repair it while the vehicle was with them for service. Again getting parts seemed to be the problem. We were inconvenienced to take the vehicle back later to have the seat fixed.

On the 2nd of June 2017 my wife drove back from work and the same light as last year February came on again. On Monday the 4th of June 2017 i drove the car to Eagle Mazda and booked it in with a list of problems. The car stood on 41000km. Until now we can’t get an answer from Eagle Mazda. We even got the dealer principal Justin involved. Again Mazda is taking no ownership of this problem and again we are stranded with no vehicle who knows for how long.

This will be the last Mazda that my wife or I will ever purchase.

Jackie Jacobs

**********
