Mazda BT 50 Blown engine, turbo, injector, air con
2013: The engine, turbo and injectors had to be replaced at 40,000kms. The aircon packed up just before that, they didn't fix it. I couldn't get a service on tour and drove to Bosch for diagnostics (nothing was done, but the aircon worked again.) The number plates were forged along with another Mazda VIN, and Ford engine number (forged vehicle was involved in a serious violent crime).

2014: Started getting serious issues on tour with control module, it was 'fixed' in George, but the car wasn't. Drove back with an incredible amount of stress. The car was taken in again, where they found no fault. I took it back again. The aircon and heaterbox was replaced, but the aircon isn't working. The auto lock function was also disengaged. I took it back AGAIN.

Since the Ford and Mazda split there has been almost none to ridiculous support on Mazda's side. There are almost no garages unless you're in a Metro city. Issues are never fixed, and you are always on hold.

We've had many Mazdas in our lifetime. At this moment we have another BT50 and a CX7. There is no loyalty from their side.

Never buy Mazda in South Africa, I know I won't.
