Mazda Bruma
Stay clear of Mazda Bruma !!!
In fact just stay clear from Mazda they have no regards to TCF " Treating customers fairly"
Mazda has no idea what they are doing, I bought my vehicle privately & only had one key. I lost the key & approached my insurance - they instructed me to obtain a quote from Mazda. Mazda was contacted, I worked with Florence Kunene, I noted to Florence 01.03.2019 That I need a key - I only had one key - She supp**** a quote for two keys - the quote was submitted to the insurer the same day & they responded that same day stating that they will only pay for X1 Key - The feedback was supp**** to Florence & she immediately provided a quote for X1 Key with the Mazda Bruma Banking details - the funds was transferred the same day & proof of payment was supp****, the following day when I had to call them again to try & make arrangements for the key they noted that they cannot code one key & will charge me for X2 Keys - The matter was again referred to the insurer who requested a letter from Mazda as explanation of why they need X2 Keys - The letter was eventually supp**** after I had to beg Mazda for it - The insurance agreed to the terms & noted that they will pay for both keys - Feedback was supp**** to Mazda - Suddenly Mazda only has one key in the whole of South Africa & the second key needed to be ordered from Japan " Note this is after they supp**** an invoice for X1 Key & the money was paid over to them. Suddenly the Service Manager Francois du Toit start coming up with 10 Excuses why Mazda cannot assist - He noted in writing that the vehicle needs to be towed at additional costs, The vehicle will be still standing in Mazda Premises for at least 3 -4 Weeks - the Ignition needs to be removed & there is a possibility that the entire Control module needs to be replaced - None of this was originally quoted on or mentioned before the money was transferred to Mazda - Eventually after Multiple delay tactics & Claims loading attempts I noted to Francois that they should rather pay the funds back to me & cancel the requested assistance - This was on the 05.03.2019 - up to date Mazda refuses to pay back the money The matter has been lodged with Mazda SA - I worked with Algernon Manje - I have on voice recording how he agrees with me that Mazda has clearly made a mistake & the funds should be transferred back to me -When pressure is app**** to get the funds reversed Mazda SA is not able to instruct Mazda Bruma to do so as they are a privately owned entity … I still do not understand this as Mazda Bruma trades under Mazda S.A - Seems the problem in Mazda Customer Care is they simply do not care - The matter was again referred to Mazda Bruma - This time I dealt with the Nobuhle Mthembu the Dealer principal - the matter was discussed & all relating E-mails was supp**** - She clearly states she is not able to make an decision "Note the title Dealer Principal - But cannot make a fair & logical decision" & will refer the matter to Cornelius Koekemoer - Franchise Executive - The matter was again laid out & step for step explained with the relevant Email & Documents Clearly showing that Mazda never noted that they will need X2 Keys cut in order to start my car again - The matter was basically immediately shown off stating that I made a mistake & I the client ordered a key in error & they will not refund my money - Take into account all this took Mazda 28 days - they still have not supp**** a quote for the Second key that needs to be ordered separately from Japan . - Basically stating that they can supply any quote irrespective of how incorrect the quote is & if the client pays it he ordered the part & they will not take responsibility. Take note that after 28 Days Mazda has not towed / supp**** a quote for Towing - Replaced a key or assisted me in anyway to mitigate my loss / to actually get the vehicle back on the road. - The total amount paid over to them was R3 381.60 - now they want to refund an amount of R948.05 Stating they will not refund the rest & the loss is completely my fault - For the Record all feedback & quotes supp**** by Mazda is pure Lies.
Take note of the following: I was able to get a private locksmith out who came to my house " Included in his quote upfront & honest" coded a key NOTE: 1 Key & started the vehicle - NO Removing of the Ignition system - NO 3-4Weeks waiting Period - NO Towing & NO removing / replacing of the Control Module . ONE KEY ! - It should be clear that Mazda is Loading claims - Being dishonest & unfair towards their customers no matter how far the issue is raised within Mazda they would rather cover up for employee mistakes - take a bad rap in the market - Have complaints summitted against them than act honest & fair
Stay clear of Mazda - they will take your money - not supply any service of any kind & if there is any comebacks they will not accept liability - even if the matter is referred to Mazda SA - who states they have no control over the Mazda.
Its become clear that Mazda Service & Employees on all levels is not what it once was gradually deteriorating through time making profit on Internal mistakes & procedures .
Mazda has no regards for treating customers fairly
My advice if you take a vehicle to them - have the Ombudsman's details ready - you will definitely need it
