*********** at Key reprogramming

<p>On Friday the 10th of March 2017 I took in my car for key reprogramming. When i made the appointment they said it will be R600 maximum. But when i brought the car they said it will be R650. Fine, I accepted. </p> <p>I gave them the manual key which was working perfectly. Also the mobiliser key which could not start the car but it could lock and unlock the car remotely. </p> <p>When i went back to collect the car they said the mobiliser key chip is defective and they can not reprogramme it. Also that the manual key data was erased when they were trying to reprogramme, so both key could not start the car now. </p> <p>They said the solution was to buy a new set of keys at R1400 and the keys will arrive on Tuesday because they will order them on Monday because it was late on Friday at about 16h45. They also said they did not have a car to borrow me.</p> <p>All this meant i was going to spend the weekend without a car and I wanted to go to a funeral in Limpopo. The workshop Manager told me that they actually do not accept reprogramming of keys there and he does not know why they took in the car. </p> <p>I feel that this is unfair treatment because now i have to pay R1400 even though i did not agree to this initially. Also that i was not told of the risk that the manual key will come out not working. </p> <p>Please help. Someone. </p> <p> </p>
