Horrible experience
I would like to discuss the Mazda incompetence...In 2021 I bought a Mazda 2021 model. Last week I took it for the annual service and was told the V belt is worn out it needs to be replaced, the total price plus labor for the V belt is R2173.70 that came as shock to me hey I mean my car was only 19874 kilos when I took it for service, I thought maybe the warranty will apply on this but unfortunately was told warranty only covers mechanical issues...This had me thinking this could be a manufacturing problem.I have never experienced a problem with V belt on a car with such low kilos. On Friday 03/03/2023 I got a call from Mazda head office and was asked to take my car to back to Mazda Midrand so that they can take a picture of the V belt and send it to the head office, I took time off work did that this morning after sometime I got an email that Mazda still stands that the warranty does not cover the V belt...why the hell did they ask me to take my car today if they know there is nothing they can do for me?????? I wasted my ****** time and petrol for NOTHING, they are so ***********. I loved Mazda cars so much but don't think I would go for a Mazda car ever again or recommend it to anybody. Mind you Mazda cars are expensive,so we think its quality and we get to experience this.
