Mazda Clearwater Arrogant, Irresponsible Manager directs blame to subordinate....Attempts to Silence Client

Mazda Clearwater is such a *****, an Imposter. on 15 March 2021 I shared the experiences I encountered with Mazda Clearwater on purchasing a vehicle. Following that post, the sales rep contacted me telling me how sorry the team were for the sluggish service and telling me that the management wanted for us to discuss and clear the air; before he asked me to delete my review as his manager was now pointing the blame on him yet he was only new at the shop and had dealt basing on detail and instruction from Dawid (the very guy whom we were told to contact when we first lodged our complaint but refused to talk to us and dodged our calls). I responded and told him that as far as I am concerned as a Sales Rep he dealt with me very diligently, and even attempted to align his managers to the issues at hand and sought amicable solutions, but I did not get the same from his manager and I will not be stopped from speaking up and sharing my experiences accordingly. I also told him that I am going to make known all the faults that were on the car but were not showing when the car was on the floor because they had been possibly cleared by a diagnostic machine without any fixing having been done. He insisted on that I wait for management to engage me and find common ground, but clearly this was just a stance by management to buy time hoping that I take my mind off the issue. So on the day I picked up the vehicle, hardly 10KMs from the dealership, the 4x4 warning light came on together with the FCW light. I did not go back to them or call them right away as I was already ****ed at the rest of the misrepresentations that I had been fighting for the last 3 days. interesting part, when I told them about those faults their response was that this is why we were telling you to subscribe to our warranty so that we could take care of such. So my question now was that these guys knew that these faults were there, but did not fix them, and did not disclose them, because they wanted to cash in on the warranty first and then be ready to fix the issues after they have received warranty money. Effectively, they do not attend to any faults on their account. they sell to you a faulty product and have you indirectly pay for the fixing yourself.

What on Earth is this??? Is De Beer really aware of these malpractices???

Friends note this: the Sales Representatives do their Job right and make every attempt to close the transaction well. However, the moment the transaction requires input from management, and you happen to have made the payments, that is when the true culture of Mazda Clearwater comes out. The Sales Manager is so irresponsible that he cannot even pick up a client's call or respond to a query in any way and worse still they are so blunt and ********** to the extend of pretending to be seeking a solution to the problem only to try and have a client delete an honest and truthful account of how they rob customers off their value. Disheartening indeed.

It doesn’t matter. These issues happened under his tenure, unless you also **** when your guys gave me a contact number with his name as DP. Otherwise, I his works will follow him. I have nothing to put on the new guy. It’s the culture he had put in place that we are challenging here. He remains responsible for our losses and ill treatment!!

It certainly matters as he is the one that you would be able to refer to now.
We are aware you did not buy the vehicle but your brother did Mr Hanyani thus he is the customer we dealt with. For further communication please contact Riaan Smit.

To me it doesn’t matter. I still refer to the guy who failed to attend to me.
You are very much misplaced as Iam the owner of that vehicle, the sales rep can help you on that if you listen to his efforts to sort out issues and stop victimizing him. I will never contact Riaan Smit because I have nothing to put on him for reasons I highlighted above

..and hey. Even if it was a Neighbour’s car. Aslong as the Facts are TRUE, it doesn’t make your service any less erratic and hookwinked. But again it’s my vehicle and you will end up in my hands whichever path you take. Just as Iam about to land into Smit’s hands. Because it’s my value that was taken by the hook!!
