Hit and Run Sales Approach
Bought the car in May 2021. Charles was friendly but very disinterested when it came to helping guide me through the in house processes to buy the car. I ended up paying in the region of R4000 to have the car cleaned and polished, which because of the staff person's accent I did not fully understand what she was saying. It was not clear that I was going to be paying that to have the car cleaned. Charles laughed when faced with I was confused. Finance dept was good and helpful. (that part of the always seems efficient - taking your money).
BIG PROBLEM NOW: 6 months later in Oct 2021 I am still waiting on registration papers!!! I am being fined for an unlicensed vehicle, someone drove into the side and I am unlicensed, so insurance is compromised. Charles, of course who no longer works there, laughed.
This is now costing me thousand of rands!!
Hoped it would be important enough to get a call from the manager when I called in, but I had a new sales person who I am still waiting to hear from. Very disappointed as I so loved purchasing my new car, but Mazda Clearwater dealership has made that experience a regret. Their attitude has done no good for car salespeople and dealerships who already have a bad rap in the industry. Be cautious if you go choose this dealership as they are not focused on customer care.
