Defective motor vehicle from a dealer (Mazda-Clear water)
I would like to report a matter in terms of: Consumer Protection Act No 68 of 2008 (CPA).
In July 2018 I bought a 2017 second hand Mazda CX-5 2.0 Active A/T motor vehicle from a dealership (Mazda-Clear water), although I have had satisfactory use of the vehicle for the last four months; I discovered that the vehicle loses balance on the freeway when you reach the 120 speed or when immediately park it will still move. I did report the matter to Mazda-Clear water (the dealership) in April 2019 when the car was due for service. I was informed that unfortunately they are unable to check the car on the road as they are not allowed to drive at a speed of 120km; however they did check and can confirm that the car is in good condition.
On the 29 May 2019 was involved in a car accident at work, while waiting for the security to open the boom gate, the car rolled forward and the brakes failed causing the car to be a write-off and me to be injured
