Rotten Enerjelly babies

I purchased a package of Maynard's enerjelly babies from my super market and when I opened them they had a rancid smell and were moulded. I did check the expiry date which said they were to expire on the 5 December 2015. I did send an email along with pictures taken of the product to Maynard's although I have yet to receive any feedback. This is disgusting behavior as it could be a major health risk for consumers. I would appreciate feedback regarding this as I have purchased the product but had o throw the entire packet away. it also doesn't help that Maynard's do not respond!!!
