Maxprop Phoenix - Appalling Service!!

I have been renting my property through Maxprop Phoenix for just over 3 years after relocating the Eastern Cape. The service I have been receiving during these years have been appalling to say the least. Rent has always been paid later than the date agreed in the rental agreement, even when I tolerated the rent being paid by the 4th day of the month the rent would be delayed to a much later date. This resulted in me following up with the agent, Manoj, every month without Maxprop proactively informing me of any concerns. Recently I decided to sell my property and I chose an alternate selling agency. My decision was not received well by Maxprop, with Principal Mike Reddy, attacking my character, intergrity and religious beliefs insinuating that, as a Christian, my decision lacked principle.

I have advised Maxprop of my intention to sell on the 7 March 2017 and requested for a signed notice to returned to me, I have yet to recieve this notice from Maxprop. Instead, I was informed that the tenant was not willing to allow prospective buyer on the property. My perception is that this is Maxprop's way of interferring with the sale of the property in an effort to punish me for not choosing them as the selling agency. I decided to escalated the matter to Maxprop franchise division and done so on the 13 March and requested for their intervention. Since my escalation, the rent has been paid but Maxprop Phoenix decided to withold a portion of the rent for a valuation that was supp**** to me free of charge. Another act out of emotion rather than professionalism, the ultimate reason I have decided not to select Maxprop as my selling agency. I have yet to receive firm communication from Maxprop HO on how they would assist me resolve the concern at hand.

I am totally unsatisfied with Maxprop Phoenix as my rental agency and even more concerned with the manner and time in which Maxprop Head office has taken to respond to my concern, all the while I have potential buyers wanting to access my property for viewing.

If you are considering Maxprop as your rental agency, my suggestion is that you reconsider your options before signing on the dotted line, I know I will not make the mistake again.
