Maxprop bad rental agents

Maxprop at Bulwer Street Durban. I rented a flat at 71/69 Gillespie Street, 206 Capella Flat. Stayed on that flat for 3 years. When I moved to the flat, no agent came with me to check and sign for the flat condition (to make sure that everything works and good condition). Instead I went to their office and collected a key. When I moved in, I had to clean especially bah tab was horrible. Bedroom doors couldn't lock them, we went and bought new locks for all does including main door. I told them about the doors and no one came to fix them. Kitchen cupboards handles were broken/damaged, the place wasn't looked after well. We stayed and did our best to make it look okay. This year 2022 May, we moved out. Lance Lambert a maitanance guy, went to view a flat and sent a report of things to be fixed. He quoted doors, kitchen handles, bulbs, etc. When we left we didnr sweep the floors or wash windows. Now they charging me R5500 for all repairs. How? My request was 1, I need to see a report that was done for the previous tenant. They didn't give, cause no one went when they moved out. Where was an agent to go with me on my first day of moving in the flat. Maxprop has no professionalism, now they keeping my deposit. It's the 14th today, I moved out on the 31 May 2022. I am disappointed and would not recommend anyone to rent a place through Maxprop rentals
