Lease Cancellation Due to Landlords trespassing on numerous occasions.

We have had landlords entering our property without our consent, on numerous occasions. Couple months ago we caught them on camera, exiting our property. We notified Maxprop, and at end of June cancelled our lease due to the circumstances. We are expected to pay the remainder of the lease (3 months), which is not a reasonable amount to say the least. After talking to lawyers they advised 1 month is a reasonable amount, we proposed this but nothing is done to help the tenant in anyway. I don't mind a reasonable cancellation fee, but when the landlords have trespassed in your home, and been caught at the same time, how can they expect you to still pay this.
