Failure to Assist tenants after a breakin

Intruders broke into our flat by smashing the door frame, stole our TV on the 16th around 18h00, we went to Maxprop on June 17th around 3pm from work, we spoke to Jeffrey who assured us he will come with contractors to look at our door & took my number, He never showed up, then we my brother whom I share the flat with calls him the following day (18th) to get feedback as why he never came, he told us we have to wait for approval from owner which could take days to a week, which was unacceptable since our door was bashed and couldn't close thus this meant someone always have to be at the flat which meant one of us had to skip work, after numerous calls to them they tell us the body corporate told them they can't approve cause \the glass on the door was not shuttered & only the frame and part of the door & both outside gates show no forced entry"thus denying approval for our door to be fixed"
