BECARFUL OF THIS SALON!!

06/03/2025 I had contacted a hairdresser from this Max Chanelles House & Hair Salon and asked how much will it cost to change the inside of my brown colour Indian hair to the colour white. I was told via WhatsApp it will be R800. I then went to the Salon situated at 37 Sol Harris Rd, North Beach, Durban and asked again if the Hairdresser will be able to get my hair the white I wanted and the hairdresser said yes. I had spent about 3hours at the Salon and my hair was bleached 2 times and was yellow and looked really bad. Before I left the Salon I was told to pay R900 (the R100 extra was for the supposed treatment put on my hair) of which I did although my hair was not completed. I went back the next day and sat at their wash basin where they supposedly bleached my hair again. Long story short, I left the Salon that afternoon very upset, my hair colour was a yellow mess. The Hairdresser told me to wash my hair with GENTIAN VIOLET & that will help stip the yellow. That afternoon I washed my hair 4 times and the next morning I washed my hair a further 3 times but my hair was yellow and embarrassing. I then contacted a Salon in Amanzimtoti and the 'professional' hairdresser did his best to correct the mess made at Max Channeles for R900. I called the Max Chanelles Hairdresser and asked that some of money from the R900 paid should be given back to me. She spoke with her boss Moschini Valiallah and get back to me. After numerous failed attempts I finally spoke with Moschini who refuses to give me back some of my money. I have the WhatsApp messages.

It is very upsetting to be told it will be R800 (paid R900) for the colour and style I requested. However what I received was having My hair bleached 2 times, looked a yellow mess and R900 taken.
