Angry customer

I did a layby for a curve headboard and pedestals on February 2022 and last week on the 25 March 2022 went to take out the layby and paid delivery they told me that they going to deliver on Monday yes Monday it was delivered they found my husband who signed for the delivery then when I check on the headboard it is damaged took a photo and sent it to the salesperson CHRIS he told me that he called the warehouse they told him it was fine the time they delivered it and the dilevery guys just dropped them at the house we didn’t even lift them. Then later the story change CHRIS tells me that that headboard it was the one that was in the store for display it’s no longer from warehouse it comes from the store and I wasn’t contacted to tell me that the headboard is finished the gave me a display without my approval now they giving me the run around it’s either they change it or give me my money back
