Bad service and even worse attitude

I am so disappointed with the service from Matt Arend Watches. I inquired about a bespoke piece for a birthday present about 2 months before the birthday. The initial correspondence was wonderful and then silence. A month later I was getting worried because I needed to find a back up present and time was running out. After several inquiry emails and Whatsapp messages with no answer from them I realised they are in no need of my business. This is not a company that you can rely on. I am appalled as we want to support our local business (there are not many watch companies in South Africa) but with this kind of service how can we?

Since my review I have received angry emails from them with many excuses (it seems they are quick to defend their bad reputation instead of providing good service from the start). They are taking no responsibly for their lack of service, they seem not to take any form of criticism very well. My review of this incident was removed from their facebook page and I am afraid their dishonesty will affect many innocent consumers in the future. I hope people will think to read hello peter and google reviews before they trust in this company and or worse loose money.
