Break in

On 27 December at 2AM our chalet was broken into by 2men armed with Pangas, they demanded all our goods, wallets, money, cell phones,Ipads, watches,Ids,drivers licenses, clothing, our bags. When they left I screamed and ran to reception and reported the matter to Gustav the owner,he said i must keep it down because it is not good for business. The police were called and we discovered that the lodge is not safe, cars have been ****** before, yet when we booked in the owner assured us that the place is safe. The police even told him to improve his security system. The hinges are small and loose,no security guard patrolling at night. When i asked him if he can compensate us since some of our stuff was not insured he said this is not heaven but Gauteng,i must accept it that way.He did not tell us how unsafe is his place before we booked,if he told us we were not going to book there. He was not honest with us.He even said I must report where ever i want he will close the lodge it does not matter. Our calls are recorded.I will appreciate your assistance in this troubling matter.I am worried that our UNSAFE CHALET was fully booked till January so other people are at risk and a life can be lost.
