Matjhabeng municipality bad service delivery

I relocated to Welkom in February 2022 in Naudeville. I have since been reporting the following till today 15/01/2024 1. Sewage line has blocked from the street. Apparently the pipe that goes the main line in the street has been broken and needs to be repaired as explained by the municipal workers. It was said they needed a TLB to dig a whole infront of my house to access the pipe. They said they needed to hire one, till today they haven't hired. I called the DA councilor of Naudeville Coreen, she promised me I will be assisted but 3 months down the line she wasn't assisting. I asked her where i could escalate this issue to she gave me numbers of a Mr Mabaso who assured me that the issue would assist. He tasked people that stood in front of my yard for about 30min and drove off. When I called Mr Mabaso back he no longer picks up my calls. At this time the mine haul in my yard was collapsing. I escalated this issue to the presidential office, they only visited my place 12/01/2024, a whole 2 years. They took notes and since I haven't heard from them. My main haul has collapsed, I have a 4 year old daughter and I cannot let her play outside as it's not safe. 2. The garbage collection in the area is not stable at all. Sometimes we go 1-2 weeks at a time without collection. We have resorted to hiring private companies to collect at a fee of R180/week. 3. There was an electricity problem affecting 3 houses next to me. We were 2 months without electricity. I resorted to hunting down electrical department guys all over town. Found a guy by the name of Willem who was extremely rude when finally came to fix after 2 months. 3. The meters in my yard are faulty, I laid numerous complaints till today they haven't been attended to. 4. Potholes in my street are never attended to. 5. I have a street light at the corner that I have been reporting till now hasn't been attended to.

Amongst other things this has lead me to consider relocating but I can't as I recently bought the house. The service delivery in Welkom is the worst I have ever seen in my life
