Matimba Bush Lodge

I booked a lodge at Phalaborwa in Limpopo called Matimba Bush lodge to go and celebrate my sisters birthday ,the lodge was about 7600 for 2 nights and I paid 950 deposit. On arrival which was on the 6th Nov 2020,the owner Gabriella started changing stories saying I now owe her R10460 for the 2 night and mind you I had proof of email were we were communicating. I then asked her to give me the account number to transfer the outstanding money as per our initial agreement and she wrote an incorrect account number which I made payments to and the money went to another persons account. She kept on saying that the money is not in her account and I was surprised as I did immediate payment of which money was suppose to reflect with few minutes or so in the same day .The following day she then mentioned that we should check the account number of which we found that it was wrong but she did not admit that she was wrong instead gave lame excuses as what could have transpired or went wrong. I then had to make another transfer of R6850 to her account number which was correct this time .I called Standard bank to assist with reversing the money bank from the other person that uses FNB but the bank cant assist me meaning that I have lost R6850 which was received by someone and most probably ate money that doesn't belong to them.What was meant to be two days of celebration turned out to be a night mare.I do not recommend the place to anyone. Gabriella is so selfish, self centered and only thinks about herself and money ,not the guests.im so devasted cos money which I had planned to do things with went to a stranger who doesn't even know were the money comes from and who it belongs to.
