Unable to cancel

The salesperson did an excellent sales pitch for the product. I am trying to cancel this contract as I do not use the product and it is non beneficial, however I am been told about the clause in the contract of where I cannot ever cancel. I think this is a straight out *******. It is the first that I hear of something that you may never be able to cancel.
