MasterCare? More like MasterCon.

Stay away from this company. My mum has paid insurance to cover her tv for 9 years. The tv is on its last legs, the screen keeps going dark and when it is working its flickering. She phoned the company and was told to contact sky because it could not possibly be the tv. So ok she got the sky people out, they changed the satellite and the sky box but this didn't fix the problem. They looked at the tv and told us the problem lay there.

She phoned MasterCare again and they wanted her to start pulling wires out and messing around with the back of the tv, shes 70 years old, disabled and has a broken foot at the moment (she told them this). She asked them to send out somebody to check the tv (it stated on the paper work that they provide home repair) and at this poin the phone operator got ****y with my mum and told her that they need her to ship the tv to them, apparently they don't have repair people in Northern Ireland ( really!) and that it will take at least a week to even get around to looking at it never mind repairing it.

Really not good enough, she cancelled her cover there and then. She feels like she has been ********** and has lost all the money she paid to that company over the 9 years.

If you must have insurance, don't get it from here.
