Most Distressing Car deal
<p> i am very disappointed on how my car finance has been handled.</p> <p>on the the 6th of May 2016 i collected a car from VW Benoni Citi. When i got home the car refused to start and it was showing an engine management system fault. when you turned the key the engine would crank but the car would not start.</p> <p> </p> <p>I then called the delear the same day and informed them about the car not starting, they came to my house on monday morning the 9th and towed the car away.</p> <p> </p> <p>I explained to the sales consultant copied on the email that i was no longer interested in this car and he advised me that he would source another vehicle, there after he sent me a quote on a new car , he sold the 2nd Polo. Then again he found another VW polo, sent me a quote on the 3rd car and also called to inform the me that the car was sold.</p> <p> </p> <p>Today i decided to drop the loan car and inform the dealer that i was no longer interested with the fact that initially they tried to sell me a faulty car and sold 2 other cars they had quoted me on.</p> <p> </p> <p> The sales executive then went to his manager who was rude towards me and my father. The Manager stipulated that he could no longer cancel the deal as the deal has been paid by the bank.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>I then contacted wesbank and they transfered me to VW financial services and spoke to two consultants (16:01) and (16:21) they both confirmed that the application is open and i should contact the dealer directly and they should assist as the deal has not been paid nor has it been concluded.</p> <p> </p> <p>I then contacted the dealer and they are refusing cancel the deal, suddenly the initial car is running and they claim that it was a battery fault. They have had the car since the 9th Of May and today is the 17th of May, and they are only figuring this out today "Strange"</p> <p> </p> <p>I no longer wish to do deal with Benoni Citi nor will i be picking up the car</p> <p>This ordeal has been frustrating nor will i ever deal with Benoni Citi nor will i recommended them to anyone</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Regards</p> <p>Earl Jeremy Reeby</p>
