I had a negative experience with an MBA member builder in Port Elizabeth. Although the association acknowledged the seriousness of my concerns, they did not take any further action. One significant issue I noticed was the MBA's contract, which heavily favors builders and could potentially leave homeowners vulnerable, especially when dealing with ************ builders.

Additionally, the MBA does not provide services for consumers to verify complaints against their member builders. They only confirm membership status, which is not particularly helpful when assessing a builder's reliability and reputation.
