Take care when you take your car for repairs at the Budget Petrol Car Repairs Workshop located at 25 Erskineville Rd in Erskineville. A very unprofessional service! I took there my Toyota Prado when its engine was stopping. First, they changed the part which was in perfect order (fuel filter) for $275 and returned the car without testing it. When I collected the car and took it for a drive the old problem reemerged. I took it back to Budget Petrol so they take another look at the car. This time they identified correctly that the Waterwatch fuel alarm system was the problem - it cost me $66 and made an appointment for the next day to fix the problem. When I arrived at 8.30 AM as agreed I was told that they are too busy and asked me to come back the following day. When I arrived the following day the situation was repeated = too busy to fix it. I took my car elsewhere - it was fixed in 1 hour and now it runs well. Beware of the lack of professionalism of car mechanics at Budget Petrol at Erskineville Road, Erskineville.
