Item recieved, from China.

The short of it is that I did get my order but it was shipped from China, which they don't make clear anywhere on the website, hence 4 stars.

Initially you won't get a POP, which is another big area for improvement. I had to email Paul two days later to get an answer, but he rep**** back about an hour later saying I would get a tracking number within the next 2 days. Sure enough, 3 days later I recieved a tracking link. Again, a bit more communication in this department would add a lot to the customer experience.

It was a bit of a shock to get a tracking number for a package coming from China - I hadn't really banked on that, as I chose Marverick Sales over another dealer who cost a bit more but had the item in stock, so it was a bit of a bummer that I now had to wait to get this really important thing. This really should be on the website, maybe under a shipping details page, or even just in red letters when you're checking out. Anything is better than nothing, especially if you are going to make people reach out to you for info on the status of their order. If I hadn't reached out, I would have gone from Monday to Saturday without hearing a word. That's not great.

Another issue for potential customers is with the courier - if you don't watch your tracking link, you won't be prepared for the sms that says it will arrive in the next two days. The same day I got that sms, the couriers were outside at 11am. Thankfully I was home to recieve it, but the lack of communication from couriers makes it very difficult to track your exact delivery date. This really isn't something Paul can control though.

All in all, I got what I ordered, and it's working perfectly. If something was wrong, I doubt that it would have been an easy return based off some other customers experiences, so I won't be recommending this site to friends without a staunch warning. Me? For the fact I can actually get niche tech things that I need with admittedly very little fuss? I'll be back to roll those dice again.
