No work ethic

We believe we have allowed sufficient time before sharing our experience regarding our project with Grant. He initially committed to completing our pool and deck within six weeks, and we paid the required deposits as well as additional excavation fees. However, after ten weeks, the only progress made was an uncompleted excavation leaving a muddy pit in our backyard. The construction team frequently arrived late or did not show up at all, and when on site, they were often idle. We raised these concerns with Grant multiple times, but it appeared he had limited control over the team’s performance. Ultimately, due to repeated delays and ongoing excuses, we lost confidence in his ability to complete the project and were forced to hire another company to finish the work. For more than a month, we have been attempting to recover the substantial deposits paid for the unfinished portion of the project. Despite repeated assurances, we have not yet received a refund, and we are now preparing to involve legal representation to recover the funds. Although Grant is personable, based on our experience, we cannot recommend doing business with his company.
