Thank you Ströh, (Pretoria North branch), for the great service in July / August with the passing of my mom Elna. The quote was spot on with our budget (which was not mentioned during our consultation). They assisted with Covid19 memorial service regulations, even though we held it privately on our private Estate outside Pretoria in our garden. They had a sanitation station and registry, checked our police funeral clearance, help (out of own will) with my sister in law and I setting up and decorating. Our guests were welcomed and assisted with parking. We didnt expect much when offered flowers for the memory table, during consultation they asked what mom's favorites were - protea's...they brought the most beautiful flower arrangement fit for a queen. A very good quality framed photo of mom in the exact size we requested. The memorial pamphlets were done with taste. High quality and flawless. The only tiny complaint - my dad bought a keepsakes necklace "cross" which the filled with a bit of mom's ashes that dad surprised me with 2 weeks later. IT WAS SO EMOTIONAL, wore it for 3 days and the silver came off to reveal really bad copper. I Live 700km away from Pta (couldn't return it in secret to help out, and didn't want to upset my dad and tell him it's a solid copper/ brass pendant that turns green on my skin as it would get him emotional), don't really want to change it...it's got a bit of mom inside... so not sure what to do (except brasso is before i put it on - it only lasts a day before it changes colors, and colors my skin) - but... otherwise.... THANK YOU STRÖH, YOU GUYS WERE SENSITIVE, HAD PERSONALITY, AND ACTUALLY MADE THE CONSULTATIONS RELAXED, NOTHING MORBID, AS I INITIALLY EXPECTED THE SITUATION TO BE.
