It is very scarce that you find a company with impeccable service these days and I would like to commend Martins Funerals in Kempton Park on their service regarding my mom’s death. From the very first phone call, Yolande De Jager was kind and caring and sympathetic. She took the reins when I couldn’t and she took care of everything that needed to be done, she also kept me updated every step of the way. Going above and beyond, warning me of my mom’s state at the mortuary, something that no other funeral home would have done, Yolande made sure that my emotional state was a top priority, I was not just a number to her and to Martins. She also immediately picked up a mistake made by the hospital, where they did not put the Dr practice number on the form, if it was not for her quick thinking and noticing this, everything would have been delayed. Also, the transportation of my mom was nothing but dignified, a previous funeral home that was there before us, simply loaded the person into a metal “can” and dragged the person onto the bakkie. Martins, came prepared with an ambulance bed, this was amazing and I was left with a great feeling of ease, knowing that they will take care of my mom, the way she would be. Martins, you have wonderful staff working for you and you made things easier in my time of loss and need.

I commend you, if only all companies had the ethics and compassion that you have, the world would be a better place.
