Unhappy Tenant

<p>We had been honourable tenants of a property arranged through a rental agent called Martinique for over 2 years. During the period we stayed there there were 3 incidents where the owner did not pay the levies and the electricity was cut off twice. The struggle to get the lights back on adn teh period we had to sort out for food and other expences tal**** up. Not to mention the unexpected visits from the owner demanding to inspect when ever he felt like it and not informing the agent accordingly. Then last year we received a phone call from the Owner stating that he is just giving us a friendly warning that he is cancelling the contract, when we queried why he stated that the Agent is *****ing his money. We tried to negotiate but he refused and gave us 1 month notice (breach of contract) We also found out that he refused to sign the 2016 renewal contract making it nil and void (this we were never informed of). We have been paying increased rental fees on a contract which does not exist. We have been out of the premises for a few months now and have not received any refund of deposit. the agency tends to read the emails but never responds or tells us they are looking into it. Tired of struggling...when will Martinique come to the party and refund us the amounts due(rental deposit+top up deposits+increased portion of renewal ofr 3 months+ interest) so that we can lie this to rest?</p>
