Shop selling faulty cellphone accessories at 5 times the price

<p>I needed a new charger and had seen in shops closeby that they were on average R30. I went into this shop as it was the only one open. I then got told a new charger would be R120. I then asked how much the USB cable would be as I could afford R120. He had one lying on the counter which looked like it had been used and told me it would cost 80 Rand. And that i should take it because it was a "bargain". He gave me 20 Rand change out of his wallet and refused to give me a receipt of any kind. I got home plugged it in and if course it didn't work. I went down to my local cafe where they were selling the exact cord in a sealed bag for R25. I went back this morning explaining to him his huge mark up firstly and that the cord didn't work. I asked him for my 80 Rand back. He then started getting aggressive and said he told me the day before norrefunds. He then swopped the faulty cord and gave me the exact same one I paid 25 Rand for. So he made 55 Rand off me and told me not to make trouble. Please anybody who wants a charger please give the shop a complete miss.</p>
