Refused to replace faulty product in warranty

I want to start off by saying that I have supported Marshall Music for over 10 years. I have spent copious amounts of money at all of their stores. In addition the "studio specialist" who helped me was aware of this when offering support.

I purchased a Novation Audiohub from their Woodmead branch. It started having sound problems. I took a video of the fault and was told by the "studio specialist" that he couldn't take my word for it as I could have used a video editing software to add the sounds!

I then sent the unit in and waited 4 months for it back while caught in a dispute where the distributor and Marshall both wouldn't replace the unit despite being in warranty and newer than 6 months (which is in fact a breach on the CPA). I contacted Novation and they said they don't issue RMA's in South Africa therefore the distributor or store is responsible for replacement.

Now the soundcard has gone from crackles and pops to severe audio dropouts however Marshall would most likely tell me I'm making it up. Additionally the unit is out of warranty now, so what started as a small issue is now a definite major fault that Marshall evaded replacing until it was out of warranty.

Losing a customer whose spent tens of thousands at your stores over a R3000 product.
