OXO spread discontinued

I am very unhappy to find out that MARS Consumer Products Africa (Pty) Ltd has decided to discontinue the OXO spread that I and many South Africans grew up with.<br> My complaint is really about the fact that there was no communication to the public that the product was being discontinued. I used google as much to try and find any info regarding the product, and then still nothing.<br> I finally called the call centre (Masterfoods) ***and was told it was discontinued from the beginning of this year.<br> I am very unhappy as the competing brands or products are not to my liking.<br> I'm sure there are many more people who have noticed this and have no idea why the product is gone.<br> They tell me it's due to a shortage or difficulty of the raw materials to produce the product.<br> I would like to know if these raw materials then become available if they will revive the product and if not why?<br> <br> Very unhappy about this.<br> Shaun
