Poor service umprofessionalism

I called Marlins Alluminium for a quote to install my shower glass. The company came to my residence to give me a quote and I paid a deposit on the 29 October 2018. I PAID A DEPOSIT OF R2000 and the agreement was in the next ten working days shower glass will be installed. HOWEVER it's been 1 and a half months and my glass is still not installed. Numerous attempts was made to contact Marlon on the number ********** and land-line number ********** but theres no response. I found his number in my local newspaper advertising his business so I called in. Iv been to the local newspaper to inform the manager about him they told me they discontinued his adverts as they also owe the papers money. What do I do. How do I get my money back. I went to his premises spoke to people on premises they made PROMISES job will be done next day please help has my deposit of 2000 rand cannot be retrieved what do I do
