Absolute ******* and job not even done properly.

Replaced our pump for an absolutely exorbitant price - should've got more than 1 quote but replacing the pump was urgent. Then he sent a quote for a sand filter which we also needed. Quote was for R6000+ which seemed very expensive. Tried several competitors and got a couple of quotes for the same filter at R3500 including installation. Then when the competitor came to install the sand filter it turned out that Marlin hadn't installed the pump correctly and it was spraying water everywhere.

Do not use this absolute rip-off artist. Overpriced, useless service and had the cheek to stick his company's stickers all over my pool pump after having done such a terrible job.
