WORST TREATMENT (CLOTHES PAID FOR BUT TOLD TO LEAVE THE STORE WITHOUT THEM)

On Wednesday, 17 August 2022 my nephew bought clothes at Markham store, the one in King Williams Town (Qonce) in Metlife mall. The amount for the clothes was R750 and after swiping his bank card, the sms came through to his phone that the money went through and the shop assistant that was helping him said it did not go through on her side so he needs to go to capitec and bring a bank statement, which he did immediately.

The girl check the statement and saw that it went through and told him he can't get his clothes, she will talk to the manager and they will call him to come get his clothes after the money has reflected on their side. On Friday, the 19 Aug, he went with his mother to Markham in Metlife mall as this did not make sense to us.

The Manager of the shop told them that they can see the money on their side but refused to give them their clothes and said they need to do some process before they can give him his clothes. Mind you these are the clothes he paid for and needs to wear but because of this so called process he is still without his clothes which he paid for.

Now this is so unfair and unheard of that you pay for clothes and you told to leave the shop without the clothes which you paid for.

What does the store expect us to do now? My family has been so patient and waited a week for the clothes they paid for and that is beyond unfair.
