Settlement letter

Hi my name is Mandla Siyothula. I'm not happy with the Markham, I had an acc with them then the past 2 years Covid-19 I did not have work since I'm self employed doing Catering. They handed over my account because it was in areas. So now on the 25 of January 2022 I paid the full balance of the amount of R4700. So I ask them for paid up letter / settlement letter that confirms that I paid and the account is settled because that letter is wanted by my banker but now they said I must wait for 6 to 8 weeks. For me to get the letter. My question is why 2 months? Because I also paid my Truworths account and I did get the letter same day as I request for it. Now their hold my life because there are transactions that can't go through because of them. And I'm a Busi man how can I move if their hold me? Holding my money and my name, I just need that letter of settlement they told me about their lawyers they handed over my account. I'm really desperate for your intervention on this matter. Thank you
