Markhams Century City, 29/8/2018

Good day I would like to know why it is that Markham, Century city's testers have a price and not a tester sticker on it

I went to Markham on 29/7/2018 Sunday morning and browsed the men's perfume display - to buy my fiance perfume - saw in the perfume display, a DAVIDOFF HORIZON 125ml EDT marked as follows: was 1205 now 0.01 (I even took a picture)

So, I told the lady behind the counter that I would like to buy that perfume. She said she'll give my one in a box and I told her that I do NOT want to buy one in a bottle I want to buy the one that is on display for 0.01. ( I specifically said for 1c ) She THEN looked at the sticker . Interesting enough, the price of the perfume on the box was 1325 OR 1365 and not the 1205 as the was price on the bottle.

She then called her manager which made me out to be an very stupid, DUMB person with his loud attitude and said I can't buy that. I actually insisted on buying it seeing no other bottle in the display was that price.

I took a photo and left. The following Monday, I called in and got the number of the area manager, Ilene(not sure if it's spelled correct) which I tried to call however could not get hold of her as she was in meetings or something. I then spoke to a lady by the name of Jolene, explained my situation and she explained to me that it was a sample- could have understood her explanation if all their samples were labelled with a price- 0.01C, which were not the case.

I then took it further and called the 2 Markham stores in my area and ask how there samples are displayed and they both said their sample are branded with a sticker marked as samples

I would like a reply on this incident please
