Markham n1 city bad customer service

Myself and my husband walked into the store yesterday, (Sunday, 29 August 2021).He wanted to purchase a jacket. We walked in and went straight to the sanitizer. It was empty. I also tried and nothing came out. We walked in as there was nobody that greeted us at the door and nobody to assist. Eventually a short guy with glasses came running towards us while we were looking at the jackets. He had such an attitude. Told us to go back and sanitize our hands. The more we were trying to tell him that it was empty, he rudely insisted that we just walked pass. After he went to check and saw that it was empty, he didn't even apologize for accusing us. He just said that the previous customers must have emptied it. I was so angry I walked right out. How can staff be so rude to customers. That was a potential sale for them and they lost it because of bad manners. I demand a formal apology from management or the staff member that treated us badly. I will not leave this here. He embarrassed us and made us feel so small.
