markham mall of the north

i bought a HI BOOST phone at markhams mall of the north on the 24th of may 2020 and within a month the screen of the phone started to keep flashing and the phone jammed , i took the phone to the shop for repair and it took over a month for me to get the feedback regarding the phone , when i eventually got feedback i was disappointed as i was told that the phone can not be repaired as they claimed it had physical damages , the phone did not have any crack and when i further enquired i was told that that i needed to pay for repairs which equates to the price of the phone . i knew that the phone had a damage in one of the sim sockets as it was dual sim but i did not complain about the sim socket i complained about the screen ,which was freezing and flashing always , is it it that when there is a complain you listen and attend to the only portion of the complaint only . i was expecting the phone to have the screen repaired and not anything else that according to them is damaged on the phone .. i am so disappointed and i will never buy from that particular store and the fact that i am told to pay for the courier fee to have the phone sent back while i did not sign acknowledgement of that when they took my phone for repair i find it very cruel and day light ******* .
