MARKHAM FALSE ADVERTISING
Markham advertised a 40 percent off ANY t shirt today
The voucher code was given to apply in the checkout
I attempted to utilize this voucher and it didn’t not take against my chosen Shirt
I checked the ts and cs the advert included all brands and any t shirt as per the advert
This is the second time TFG HAVE FALSE ADVERTISED IN THE SPACE OF TWO MONTHS LAST TIME THEY FALSE ADVERTISED WAS THROUGH SPORTSCENE
FALSE ADVERTISING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE TFG CONSISTENTLY YOU ARE REPEAT OFFENDING DUPING YOUR CUSTOMERS ACROSS THE GROUP
DISGRACEFUL I WILL TAKE TO CONSUMER PROTECTION I EXPECT A PHONE CALL REGARDING THIS

05 Nov 2020, 10:24Update Mr Nutt from TFG clarified markhams position they state is was specific to shirts only as in button up shirts what tfg and markham fail to acknowledge given Mr Nutts rather arrogant response palming me off out right , is that when one states ANY SHIRT it could mean anything it’s open for interpretation ANY SHIRT could mean T SHIRT , GOLFER , FORMAL SHIRT ETC ETC TFG FAIL TO UNDERSTAND THIS I ASKED THEM TO SIMPLY PUT THEMSELVES IN THE POSITION OF THIER CUSTOMERS AS CONSUMERS THEMSELVES AND THINK TO THEMSELVES IF THEY WALKED JNTO A CLOTHING STORE THAT SELLS VARIOUS CATAGORIES OF SHIRTS AND SAW THE ADVERT “ANY SHIRT” what would come to mind one would think t shirts - golfers - formal shirts ANY SHIRT MEANS ANY TYPE OF SHIRT Tfg Does not even want to acknowledge this fact at all they have not been specific in thier advert and simply because I’m the only one to raise this fact and bring to thier attention they are acting out in arrogance and not acknowledging as mentioned I have caught Tfg out numerous times for false advertising previously most recently about two months ago whereby the sportscene team acknowledged and corrected thier wording unlike in this expierence dealing with Mr Nutt . Misleading adverts need to stop its not acceptable
