Markham default

I bought shoes at Markham. I only wore them for one day and the sole came off. I went to back to the Markham showed them and wanted refund. A manager was called and he told me that it's not their problem and its the road I was walking on. I don't understand how that is, it doesn't matter where I walking the shoe broke because faulty from manufacture. I only wore it once and trusted in the brand Markham. I am utterly disappointed as a customer that such a brand can produce such shoes and blame it on customers.
