Goods Return Policy

11 November my wife sent me to Markham Chris Hani Mall to exchange a Relay Jean she bought for me at Markham Alberton. I was welcomed by a gentleman by the name Skhumbuzo Cindi, he told me that the exchange will not be possible since I didn't have my Markham card with me. I tried unsuccessfully to explain that I was sent by my wife. He refused to assist me. I would like to refer you back to your Ts and Cs, they state as follows: #30 day return policy for goods that have not been used 1. The goods must be in the original condition and packaging 2. The goods must not have been used 3. The goods must still have the price ticket attached. Having mentioned your policy I believe the requirements were met and I fail to understand the logic behind sending a potential customer away on an ill informed reason which doesn't even conform with the policy I have read. Never in your Ts and Cs where it states that one should bring along his or her card when returning goods or maybe I missed it and it should have reflected on the proof of purchase. What a waste of my time, my petrol money my plea which fell on deaf ears. I do not want this Jean anymore, I'm going to advise my wife to ask you credit the purchase back into her account. Please be advised that I intend escalating this matter to the NCR on behalf of my wife. ********** 538
